The Brick is open to all Festival Credential holders (on a space available basis).
Events at The Brick
The Brick is the festival’s crossroads and the destination for filmmakers with any questions, concerns, or comments - our SSIFF staff and volunteers are here to help.
The Brick and the historic Marion Theatre meet all ADA requirements.
How do I get my Filmmaker Pass? Passes will be available upon registration, along with swag and helpful information. Special rates for advance hotel accommodations are available to our filmmakers at participating hotels (Included under travel/accommodations).
How many Filmmaker Passes do I get? Each filmmaker receives two Dive-in “all access” passes. Your pass is non-transferable, which means your passes can only be used by you and/or designated members of your production team. The Filmmaker’s Dive-in pass gives you access to all screenings, events – including opening and closing night/awards parties - and all areas of The Brick (our filmmaker headquarters).
In addition, your Filmmaker’s Dive-in Pass entitles you to dining/ cocktail/shopping discounts with participating shops, restaurants and attractions throughout the area.
What about additional tickets? Filmmakers may purchase additional tickets to all screenings for $8.00 (a 20% discount). You may purchase as many tickets as you like at this price for any screening, until screenings sell out. There is no minimum and no maximum. Tickets are available at The Brick and the Marion Theatre box office.
So I bought additional tickets – what does that include? Single tickets, Day Passes and Special Screening Passes grant ticket/pass holders access to The Brick and its “Deep Dive Cinema Lounge” cinema banks that allow festival goers to see “official selections” they might have missed. Single tickets, Day Passes and Special Screening Passes do not entitle the ticket holder to any special events. Tickets for special events may be purchased through the “ticket” link on our website.
What is the “Deep Dive Cinema Lounge”? There will be an area inside The Brick where ticket and pass holders can see “Official Selections” they might have missed during the festival. Three high-top bar tables with large, flat panel displays and wireless stereo headsets will provide a comfortable space for our filmmakers and their fans to catch up on the films in the festival.
Please note: Films will become available on the system only after their official screening at the Marion Theatre. The “Deep Dive” is first come, first served and on-going throughout the festival, during regular festival hours at The Brick.
